It is basically made from traditional ingredients and matured by secondary fermentation. Once the cask is tapped, the beer comes into contact with oxygen, and thus the shelf life of beer becomes limited, which is almost three days. The smell of the cask ale is fresh, wholesome, and delicate and the Aroma does not have much impact. The flavor of the beer is more pronounced due to the lack of carbonation and it usually tastes fruity first. Then it gets balanced in that middle and bitter at that end. Additionally, cask ale is not frizzy and has been already conditioned so it does not need to be left open for a while to bring its best taste.
